Hi John,

Rigged it today. Started off with marking the tank, liter by liter. Quite a tedious task. Just as we were busy rigging the wing, somebody brought the beers :twisted: :twisted: , No flying after that. Did however start the motor, and Unicorn taxied it up and down the runway. Unfortunately I left the camera at home, so no fotos :oops: :oops: :oops: Will however take fotos at the next opportunity.

For prices see Solowing's website. The 912 had a very substantial price hike recently. Fortunately we got our's still at the old price.

It is a GRS, Galaxy rescue System. For a GRS speak to Abe Kruger in Pretoria, or Dave Grosvenor from Dreamwings in Durban. Both gentlemen are extremly helpful and very pleasant to deal with.

I see on another thread that you have taken EINa up a couple of times.

What does that 912 behind you feel like? Much different, say compared to a 582?

Hi John,

I did my training on an Aquilla 912, so I cannot really commment. I only flew an Aquilla 582 once. When flying the 582, I found it not as responsive as the 912. Also the 912 turns in the opposite direction of the 582. So the swing is to the other side. On my first take-off with the 582 I got a bit of a skrik, but is only a matter of getting used to.
