Anyway, I called the next person on my list of test pilot candidates (the company that I work for has in excess of 1300 employees so it is a long list…) and he met me at the airfield 15 mins later – At this rate I should have worked through all the PAX by 2087.
The WX was perfect, not a bump in the sky, flew my normal “first time pax†route and patter. 30 mins later we where back on the ground as the sun was setting. Another one hooked………
This just got me thinking was fortunate people we all are to be able to fly. From the bloke in the KingAir Twin to the bloke in the PPG it is an experience that can’t be adequately expressed verbally. It is only when you get a new PAX down on the ground again and hear them trying to explain to their family and friends what an awesome experience it is that you once again realize how fortunate and blessed we all are.
Anyway, safe flying to all of you out there for the week to come, the sardines are getting close and here in East London anything and everything that can fly is fueled and waiting to see the shoal come past……………..
