To Trikenut or not to Trikenut, this is the question

Postby Morph » Tue Jan 27, 2009 3:16 pm

I have been watching the banter over the last week or so, relating to our young Trikenut.

These are my views on the subject

1. We must remember that he is just 13 years old
2. He often misrepresents his age in the responses he gives to others, i.e. he gives a far more adult response than we would expect (f#$% off for example  )
3. He is the only active 13 year old on the site and often others don't realise this when they respond to him
4. He is extremely enthusiastic and we should constantly encourage him and many others to want to live the dream
5. Members here on this site often tease him a little bit more than normal and the young man does appear to loose his cool often to this.

My suggestions
1. somebody teach him how to get the photos off his camera
2. Let's chill on the teasing guys, and let's help this boy/young-man learn and grow and become a great ambassador for our sport
3. To make sure that we all know how old he is, I sentence Trikenut to have the following on his signature "Beware 13 year old here"
4. With that I also expect Trikenut to respond as such as a 13 year old who is willing to learn from the old warts on this forum and not try and be a crude man with no value to give.

I agree Morph, thanks for the post.

I wonder how many of us remember being a slobbering, girl face sucking 13 year old????

Come on Ross, don't run away, we will make a man out of you yet.

I second to that Greg!!

Trikenut is a attribute to this forum.

Only next year, and on his birthday may his signature change to "Beware, I am only 14 years old"!!

Hi To All,

I have just had a lengthy mail from Trike himself which he also sent to Tailspin. I have however accepted his apology and would like the whole forum to put in the past what has gone on.

I have told him to keep posting and I will certainly give hime advice and encouragement when he needs it. I myself will ease up on the teasing(not a lot   ) and let the youg lad get back into the swing of things.

Cheers,

Andy

I like the lad and never wanted anything from him but a 1 picture posted on the site so we can get an idea who were are talking to(mainly becuase he always asked for pictures). Perhaps yes one of the older guys in the cape that owns a camera can assist :)
