So guys and gals, who in here knows or have flow an aircraft called the PDQ?
I might just buy one but cant find any details on it!

So if you have flown one or have any details please let me have it :mrgreen: (^^)

Nice to see you on the forum again.

Info about the PDQ is very scarce .

Found this post by Scott perkins

The Starlight Nova Warp originated at least 7 or 8 years
ago and at the 2003 or 2004 SunFun they had a fatality
on a very hot day during takeoff with the pilot crashing
inverted onto the top of one of the big buildings
at the end of the ultralight grass runway.
It reminds me greatly of the PDQ which Wayne Ison
stopped promoting because of the huge problems of
high thrust line compared to wing or overall center
of drag.
Maybe with an extra large elevator the hi thrust
line could be dealt with.

Our light aircraft experience goes back to the early 1970's when Wayne Ison designed and sold kits for a small aircraft called the P.D.Q. This was actually an ultralight ahead of its time and was licensed in the Experimental category. Originally powered by a two-cycle engine, it weighed only 220 lbs.
Among many of Wayne's designs were aircraft such as the FP-202, the first of the "Cub" style ultralights. This was followed by the FP-303, a folding wing aircraft with lines of a "military trainer." Building on these early successes, ISON Aircraft was formed to market kit airframes in the $4,000 range. Through the efforts of a team of talented individuals such designs are being engineered, built and tested.

Thanx :!: I searched the net but couldn't find much :? You must have had a lot of time :P :P :P :P well anyway Im looking a buying one but Im not in the mood to buy something that will be more effort to fly than anything else.

yes i havent been too active in the last couple of months as work is getting in the way. :shock: :evil: (**) We might be expanding the factory once again and then Im also in the process of going to Aus. Depending on the new machinery etc I might stay, :? who knows only time will tell but for now I have to get something to fly and that is the bottom line :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
