Help for the technologically retarded... Please

Postby Cali » Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:20 am

How on earth do I change a file format on my computer. I downloaded Flying the Fish and Flying the Falls onto my computer and I want to get it onto a disc that will work in my DVD player. I use Nero.

And how do I get movie clips onto my daughter's MP4 player to work.

Help please (**)

Open up Nero SmartStart
Click on the DVD tab top right
Select Photo and Video, - Make you own DVD video
Click on Add video files
Browse and find the stored video file.
At this stage you can create chapters, i.e. for jumping between scenes
next next next etc etc and eventually you will be able to burn it to disk

Where did you store the downloaded file?

Also what format is the video file in?

When you try to add a file it says "all supported video files" in the files of type box. If you click down there you will see the file types it supports

Hi Morph.

I saved it in "My Videos" and on my desktop.
It is a Mpeg-4 Movie file. Apparently not a file Nero supports.

Cheers
