Have wings........... WILL fly !!!

Postby IceAge » Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:58 am

Passed my flight test on Saturday morning.... WOW what a feeling

Thank you to Dawie, Maurits and Jacques, instructors at Kroon, for their patience and support in getting me there. (^^) I know it could not have been easy doing circuit after circuit in the cold.... Gents it is highly appreciated.

To all the club members who supported me with 'hang in there' and words of motivation also a big thank you. Also to Dale, aka 3AxisFlyer, for the daily chat on flying and support....... Frikkie we will be flying away soon !!

Also to Softness, the kids and family for all their support during my venture to fulfill a dream, thank you =D* Not long now and you can come fly with.

Lastly a big thank you to our heavinly Father for keeping me safe during my training and many flights to come......

Batman, Big-D,

With the weather not being too coshier at this stage and metinks it is going to be the same for the whole weekend........ eish no flying !!!

Whenever the weather permits I would love to join you okes on a breakfast run to Kokoriba...... or wherever.

I do not see myself just yet venturing too far from the cabbage patch by myself......... maybe later after a few flights with other pilot's to build a bit of confidence !!!!

Good thinking Ice age

You must slowly build up skill and confidence and then one day you reach 200+ hours hit a downdraft of note and loose all confidence again

Kidding - My shrink says I will be able to fly without the adult nappies soon again :D

Kokeriba not too far from Rosslyn - We will wait untill weather looks great and then go
