Skyranger does it again

Postby Neophron » Thu Sep 13, 2007 5:38 pm

Quotes from the Skyranger resource group(chat group)

"Paul Dewhurst and Paul Welsh flying a Skyranger have won the two seater fixed wing class in the World Championships in Czechoslovakia."

"It was interesting to compare the Skyanger with its peer group. There were a number of 912 Rans S6’s and a well flown C42. We were consistently faster in tasks with a speed element and more economical in the distance tasks. Soaring and spot landings are of course more to do with pilot with the machine being a smaller but nonetheless important element, and we certainly did not feel disadvantaged in these areas either. So once again the Skyranger proved itself as being a good all rounder. If we divided the final scores by the new prices of the machines then we really would have been miles and miles ahead!"(Paul Dewhurst)

Doing it 5 years in a row 2003-2007 and before that 1996-2000 (^^)
Need I say any more...

Cheers <*>
