I still think these trikes must be the ultimate in flying, can you imagine taking the wing off and having a cool hovercraft!

There has been a thread on float microlights and I believe the problem is the same as with inland float planes. And that is water affairs don't like them because they spread water-weed.

I think its a pain in the butt getting a license and you need to to a dry landing and clean hull before landing on another patch of water.

Imagine having one of these around the Kast Pinnacles in the China Sea (James Bond- Man with the Golden Gun). Cruising around between the pinnacles... no worries about engine failure... dropping of and camping on a beach... sigh.

I think there were a couple of these puddle jumpers in Moz being used between the islands. Think there is market for one of these in most tourist destinations near a dam or coast.
