Medicals !

Postby VNE » Wed Nov 15, 2006 12:49 pm

Hi Guy's ,

I was just wondering how long is a class II medical valid for over the age of 40 when flying with an MPL license ??? In other words flying with a PPL medical on a MPL license ?
Hope that makes sense !
Thanking the gurus in advance :P

Over 40 - one year on PPL medical, under 40, 2 years  The medical type certificate determines the validity and period, not the type pilots license.
Definitely longer for MPL type certificate for under 40's, not sure about post 40's, not there yet.......

If over 40 and fit and healthy the type 4 is valid for 3 years, under 40 5 years. Look in the training forum for more detail
