TEMPORARILY GROUNDED !!

Postby Chaz » Tue Aug 22, 2006 3:41 pm

Heya Folks :!: :!: :!:

After much brainstorming and consultation with Carms i sold my plane today. I am strongly considering buying a "gyro" and becoming a "gyronaut" but in the meantime will be doing Sky-Diving in Witbank. Did a tandem jump on Sunday and "WOW" an absolute adrenalin rush. It also appealed to me more than the flying of a microlight. Beleive it or not i felt happier and excuse the pun more secure skydiving. So my daughter and i will hopefully soon be jumping together. :D :D :D

I just think i was not doing the hours and rather than get hurt or do something stupid i and Carms thought this the best solution. So when i report here again it will be about Sky-Diving :D :D :D

So to all my fellow micro - light aviator friends and associates i wish you more and many years and hours of safe flying untill i join the ranks again hopefully soon with a gyro :D :D :D

On a more serous note, it is now reason for you to fall off the forum now Chaz.

No John...you're not missing anything. You just need to decipher Bennie's English spelling :D
Should read:"On a more serious note, it is no reason for you to fall off the forum now Chaz."

Heya Chaz, if the men from Bloem can do it without the chute from 1000m, then you can do it everyday.

Enjoy.

LIGHT?????

Welcome to the dark side....

You will thoroughly enjoy the skydiving; just stay within the limits, be safe and try and stay sane.

Anyway, Chaz has been wanting to take up skydiving for quite a while so its great that he's enjoying it so much. Don't know about the egg-beater though - I'd stick to trikes!

Heya every one !!

Thank you for the kind responses so far. Yeah hopefully sometime soon t-bird. Eve since my intro flip with Johan Meyer i am eager to get my own "gyro". Have met a lot, actually more people, it seems that are against rather than for a "gyro".

Some believe the "gyro" wing throws too little shade. Other's feel there is too much gyroscopic effect on the aircraft. Other's in turn thinks it's too drafty. Othrs feel the take-off is too long and then of course there are those that think a "gyro" is just plain kaaak    So as i said with all the people being against it makes me more determined to be a "Gyronaut" :D :D :D
