Hey all, after a brief stint in Namibia home is Cape Town again.
My log book is buried in the moving boxes, but I think it has been 2.5 years since my last flight and probably 4 years since my last check flight. What is the minimum requirmnet to get my wings back? I dug up a thread that said 5 years before you need to redo completely.
Lots of studying and practice coming up.
What would be the best approach? Who is active as an instructor at the moment.
DNP has some issues from standing for that time. Who are the current APs that can get her airworthy. Carb service and the wing needs looking at, throttle cables are all seized up, rusty fuel level sensor, leaking tank, etc.
Then I have to get hangerage....
