I would like to gather some info on licencing, owning, hangering and maintaining a microlight. Probably weight shift, but maybe 3 axis
Licencing.
I have a PPL, but it has not been renewed two years ago. Would the hours count towards a trike licence?
What would the process be of getting a licence?

What is the cost of a good second hand trike. Something capable of carrying two people with a decent amount of performance in reserve?

What is the life of a microlight? Assuming it is well cared for and kept out of sunlight when not in use?

What are the running costs including routine AME inspections?

What would the hanarage fees be at an airfield in Pretoria/jhb? something where there are concreat floors and a tar runway. For example Kitty hawk, or the field on the N4 near Lanceria?
