Can someone please confirm that despite sending RAASA (every year) the following, I must do it again?


4. Recent photo of aircraft in current guise, printed or e-mailed to RAASA at atf@raasa.co.za

5. Copy of valid Mass-and-Balance (within the last 5 years)

6. Copy of Equipment List (lists instruments and avionics)

10. Copy of the Certificate of Registration (C of R);

11. Copy of previous Authority to Fly (ATF); (I would think since they issued it, they would have it on file!)

Strange ...

I did my ATF a month ago (as well as those of 3 other club members) and none of that was required.

Maybe, the last time they used your file, they put it under "G" for Gert and not under "C"

Or did you report an accident since the previous ATF ?

No that is the list on the website.

Gert, you need form 24.2(b), for subsequent renewals. You are looking at 24.2(a), for INITIAL ATF applications:))

Just applied for my ATF too and I also did not understand why, and Yes David you right, on the latest form a lot of those requirements don't need to be duplicated.

what form is being used?
RA 24.2 (b) Does not require all you have stated.
