Nice movie: Fly Away Home

Postby Loco » Tue Sep 25, 2012 2:42 pm

Saw a nice movie by chance this weekend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fly_Away_Home

About a little girl that adopts some geese and teaches them to migrate with her trike :)

Sorry if you've seen it already but it has some amazing footage

Saw it the other day again. Awesome movie but not sure how that young girl could handle that trike so well :?
That wing should be rather heavy... (**)

 yeah that's Hollywood for you!

Would love to have a wing like that...

And what's up with that thing on the front of the wing?

Agreed, but that episode of MacGuyver that had a microlight built out of duct tape and bamboo was also a contributing factor

One of my all time fav films...saw it on TV some years ago....I fancied watching it again so I bought the DVD off ebay a few months ago...you can pick it up quite cheaply,

Anyway enjoyed watching it again...but the bonus of having the DVD are the extra progs on the DVD...inc a TV doc that was made some time before the movie featuring the the guy who actually was the man who made the real story happen...Bill Lishman...an amazing guy....

If you haven't seen the film or even the extras on the DVD...well worth buying.

Nick in the UK.
