Bara G - a different breakfast venue this weekend?
Piet & Joey who run the resturant at FASy (Baragwanath) would like to know what you consider the ultimate breakfast. The person that comes up with the best idea will have the breakfast named after their aircraft and it will be placed on the menu.
Eggs Aquila? Bush baby bagel? Cheesy toast Cheetah? Let's hear it.
Secondly, why not visit Bara this weekend for breakfast for a change of venue. They are splashing out on really good coffee (and coffee "& tea" is free).
For the late risers, lunch special is chicken schnitzel and salad besides the usual burgers etc...
Breakfast is usually served from 8 am but if a handful of visitors plan on being their earlier, they will gladly accommodate - just post here if you would like to organise.

I must say that I am impressed with the breakies, the coffee and most of all ...the friendly people, not to mention the awesome service

Bara is the Chain Gang's meeting spot,it's halfway from Klip and Crosswinds (21 miles from either side),so we enjoy the flip there and watching the taildraggers taxi out

As for a breakie...
I would like to see a "Windlass Pullstart",this would be a starter or should I say a pullstart

We enjoy it there, everyone should go check it out

FASY has a dedicated frequency: 122.6
S 26deg 20' 47"
E 027deg 46' 31"
Runway is asphault - 31/13 orientation. 1000m long
Very NB!!! :
Do not join overhead due to aerobatic box.
Join just north of runway (aerobatic box extends 1000m from runway centreline to the south of the field - towards the ridge.
All circuits are tot he north of field
There is R/C activity just to the south west of the field (their traffic is kept to the south of the field - so no conflicts there at all)

Now that is something I will Definately Support.

Where were the trikes...only people there were myself,Alpha,Tailspin and John.Com

We were on our way to Oranjeville via FAVV.
John from Aeroden collected myself and Talie from Crosswinds and we all routed to FAVV to meet Alpha from Klip.
It was misted up all the way from 10 miles out from FAVV right until the Vaal...we could not land,so we routed to Bara for a coffee while waiting for Alpha to meet us there.
We then routed to Carltonville...from there we road the bumps all the way home..landed at Crosswinds just before 12pm

Love the new setup at Bara with the Cereal...quick fix
