Lets say I have a PPL. For arguments sake, I buy a Bushbaby (which I fly with my PPL). My kids (one is 5 the other 7) love flying with me but they're always arguing, fighting and crying about who gets to go up first and who flies with me to the fly-in and so on. I'm too poor to buy and maintain a 4 seater (and a BB is a lekka airy anyway), so I would like to safely and securely instal a small seat with belts etc. for the smaller laaitie behind the seat. Of course the airy will still be below MAUW with 1 adult, 2 small kids and lots of fuel on board and the COG is within limits too.
Would this be legally possible? If so, what formalities/legalities are required?

Re: Question
Best is to contact KFA and ask them, don't think you will be allowed to install a third seat but not sure.
Flying feeds the soul!
Re: Question
If it is not a std option on the plane then I would imagine it would be classed as a "mod" and need to go through an approval process??
Good luck.
I can just imagine the "sibling rivalry" going on.
Hope you find a solution bud

Re: Bushbaby - Question
Any thing is possible. It all depends on how much time, effort and money you are willing to spend. You would have to go through a mod approval process but it should be possible. Will have to think about it a bit more.
