Note the FULL SIZE battery hanging off the root tube just behind the front wheel.
Dont know Jaco in person but would be interested to know how this combination effects MTOW and max empty weight values.
I bet the fuel consumption is better than the Rattex 582 15 lt an hour.?
Very inovative.almost unbelievable.
Can a Ranchero 5.0l V8 also fit on a Trike?
(^^) Jaco
you must be a brave Pilot cos if that engine go's TITS UP you gottal be goin down at a rapid rate.

Hi There,
It cost us close on R50 K for the whole project, (excluding any labor, paint, paperwork and AP), but including:
Toyota 110 Hp Engine
Universal Gearbox
New Exhaust system
Cooling System
Engine Brackets and mountings
Dual fuel pumps, filters, piping etc.
Engine Management System and Tuning
Automotive instruments
40Ah and 7Ah Battery (EMS) Batteries
Wiring, Relays, Fuses and Switches
Hundreds of bits and pieces

The running costs is going to be the more interesting part. After 1000 hours:
New Engine - R 8000
Gearbox new bearings - R500
Bits and pieces
We have not calculated the fuel burn yet, but we're impressed so far. Cruising at 3500 - 4500 rpm

Hope it helps. Happy sailing.
