Petit boys will be routing Witbank, Middelburg, Kwena Dam, Hazyview. All weather permitting. What wonderful weather we've had over the last few days - latest models suggest that it might start changing next week Thursday. We'll make our final call Wednesday evening, dont want the shit of last year. If weather isnt ok, we'll be trailering.

Two things I will never do again. Stop at Belfast to Numbi and fly Air France to Oshkosh. Wish I could join you again this year. Numbi is the best jol ever. Enjoy, fly safe and avoid Belfast.

The highest runway around, the runway is very rough, loads of big trees usually cuase very bad windshear, the wind
is usually 20-30 knots, something always goes wrong or breaks in Belfast and its K@K place  8) 8)

Well said Barry. Very sh-t place to be stuck on the ground. Sat there last year waiting for the fog to clear, hanging on to our planes for hours in heavy winds. Only much later when the wind began to drop.......(began to drop trees   ) we took off. Two GT's got blown over on the ground and was out of the fun. Did my first ever assisted take off from there with two guys holding the wingtips running along until you are airborne. Once airborne you either climb at 1000000000 ft per minute sideways or backwards or not at all, ask Brett. As Barry said, no one ever leave Belfast without some sort of damage wether its to your plane or to your mind.

Oh, and its in the middle of nowhere and they don't sell beers (^^) (^^)

Fly safe and enjoy. Brett, with Barry not going, please will you take over the Barrel roll demonstration.  (^^)

Hi Gang.

Myself and Henry Adams will be airborne on Wednesday at 4:00pm to fly to Witbank and spend the night at the dam.

We will be ready to get airborne on Thursday at about 6:45am when the guys from Petite arrive overhead.

We will not be using the Witbank airfield. We are using one of the roads in the estate.

Co-ords for the Estate

S 25deg 57" 112'
E029deg 17" 481'

I cannot remember if these are for the house or the road we use. In any event we will be on radio 124.80 when you get there.

Theunis and myself will each have a MISASA tracker. You'll be able to track us in real time in Google maps and follow our progress. You need to log onto www.kilometers.co.za and register, then pm me for the IMEI number.
