BALD EAGLES

Postby RV4ker (RIP) » Wed Nov 25, 2009 3:14 pm

Some years back EAA had a bald eagles brekkie (vs the young eagles prg) Was awesome event IMHO. All fly inn in whatever (this one was at Barra G) and you buy a brekkie for 60 Ronts and you gets to take a flip in ANY aerie there with the owner/pilot. This was a social EAA jollie to raise funds and have some fun.... It not about the cash, but is a nice fun fund raiser rather than having to beg guys for cash. Maybe we can use to raise funds for hosting fees for Microlighters?

Why not do something similar in Dec when things wind down a bit? I can't make the drinks sessions in the weeks (sadly), but maybe a small informal get together at somewhere like Aeroden FAAP ('cause it suits me     ). Bring a toy for a flip or something like that? Funday flipping in any type that available. You always wanted a flip in GT450, Bantam, or Windlass then here's your chance? Makes it fun for those without aeries as well. Spot landings, flour bombs, rally, bog roll if that ticles your fancy etc. Annual Microlighters Fun day year end Flying Joll. (All the fun without the hangover) As you can see I don't "have" a flying club so feeling a biot left out of the year end jolls everyone is planning

Just thinking aloud.... Would love to host it at Coves, but eish ## ## ## ## can just imagine all the KAK the mudda grundies would cause. (Call Caa to report invasion force of garden furniture hell bent on destroying their brick and mortar dwellings)

Any interest?

George this sounds like an excellent idea. !!!!
Aeroden is a very good location as there are sleep over ficilies for those who want to come from Far. );))
Also it is nice and clear of the conjested airways. (**)
I would say this is an excellent idea.
The Toys can be given to Abraham Kriel or something like that. ($$) ($$)
Also a good time for Pilots to meet each other and find a face behind the Nick (^^) (^^)

I second Aeroden as location - Sounds like great idea

Unfortunately only small hot chicks can come for flips with me in the Blade - Kinda cramped vhpy

Maybe give oom Basie at Aeroden a call RV4ker - They like this kind of thing
