Fuel resistant rubber

Yes im looking for fuel resistant rubber approx 3mm thick to make a seal for my fuel cap. I cant seem to find any good quality stuff. Any ideas? :(

Hi Massimo. Go to your local rubber supply shop and and ask for a piece of 3mm Nitrile. Even easier if you live in cape town, go to Cape Town Rubber with the cap, and they will cut it to a nice round shape with a big hole in the middle. jim

You'll need something like Neoprene or Nitrile. Check your PM. Details are there...... vhpy

Rubberised cork works well, available at most spares shops like Midas :wink:
