Help Needed

Postby Jabbanaught » Sat Aug 15, 2009 3:33 pm

Hi Guys

I have a two friends that fly MT-03 Gyro's, They plan to fly around Africa in October .

They want the following to be done and please keep in mind that the gyro's are standing at FASH(stellenbosch )

The Owner of the yellow gyro want the entire plane to look like the SA Flag , he reckons the rest of Africa must know where he is coming from , The problem is i do not know who can do such a design and or who can do it , Either spray or stick on .

Next they want transponders to be fitted to both gyro's , The radios are not the best and that need to be sorted and then they want Ipod docking stations fitted to each GYro's for the long trip. This must be able to tie into the existing sysyem

All help and suggestions would be appreciated .

Regards

Paul

Best to do is stickon talk to companies who wrap panelvans and so on. Most companies that make signs are able to do it.

There is pros and cons to what they want done...

Wrapping is possibly the way to go if they don't want a "permanent" finish as the printed vinyl can be removed! (Sign-o-Rama, ROMAN etc.)

Custom spraying is the other way. Companies that specialise in this are usually in the motorcycle trade eg CustomWorx! Then the result would be like Jonathan B's never ending story theme on his gyro! Maybe ask him where he had his done....

Isn't there a branch of Aircraft Instruments in Cape Town?
