Just for Demon Fans

Postby alanmack » Thu Jul 23, 2009 2:08 pm

Well the next Microflight Africa is taking some time to get into the envelopes - about 70% have been posted so for those that will not get it before the week-end here's a special treat for Demon fans

Looking at the last picture, not much has changed for Demon......

Maybe he now has a little less hair and then off course his brand of beverage consumed....... (^^)

Very sad but true. The ERMF club was disbanded at the last AGM. Looking forward, one hopes for renewed membership energy in the not too distant future. Microland as an airfield and the Skyriders School remain very active. It is just the club activity that has lost support over the last year or so. A few dedicated pilots started to feel the weight of too much to be done by too few and the resolution to disband the ERMF Club and to return the club savings to members was carried at the AGM. Hopefully this state of affairs will not endure, for given that it was the biggest club in SA, I'm sure that the baton will be picked up by all at Microland.

That is so sad Alan. I was a member for a few years and was Chairman until end of 2008. I saw this coming as it was the same few people trying to do everything and keep the club alive. Hopefully it will start up again soon! I take it the A Team are still going strong....
