Petit Charity Fun Day

Postby Nkwazi » Sat May 02, 2009 10:05 am

Petit Social Flyers is hosting a charity fun day for two childrens homes on Saturday 9th May at 8 am. There are going to be 80 children who are all going to get a short flip. We have sponsorships for jumping castles, boerie rolls, sweets, cooldrinks, etc. Benoni City Times will be covering the event. We would appreciate any volunteer pilots who would like to come and help with flips. For legal reasons your mpl and atf need to be valid, please bring them along.

We look forward to welcoming many of you!!

Thanks Herman - Les phoned me to tell me - appreciated. Weather looks OK so far, obviously just play it by ear on the day.

We had a journo from the Benoni City Times there to cover the event. I had mentioned to him that he MUST please include the names of the sponsors in the article to which he agreed. Today I receive an email from him saying that the article will be in the paper tomorrow but he couldnt mention the sponsors names as that is considered advertising? What a load of old bollocks.  :x

Anyway thanks to:

Mikes Kitchen Rynfield: 4 cases coke
Rynfield Superspar: 6 litres oros and 4 boxes crisps
Rynfield Fruit and Veg: 8 dozen hot dog rolls
Duck Inn Pub: R 500 cash
Matts Meat Market: 30 pieces of boerewors
Microlight Adventures (Andy Kasperson): R 500 cash
All the pilots, spouses and friends that assisted.

Well done everyone, I'll post the article soon
