Re: Buying from sponsors help fund this site now
The site is chowing 50GB worth of bandwidth a month now and revenue from google adverts amount to about R1500, we currently fork out R5000 per month in bandwidth fees - I have signed up with a local affiliate network for the small adverts top left of the index pages and I am looking for a local host that will charge us less than the current R0.12 per MB of bandwidth consumed. Hell, it is 90% local bandwidth so if there is a provider out there that provides free local please inform me!
Our current host has been very stable but the costs are killing us, if anyone has any other alternatives please let me know.
Currently the hosting of pictures is probably what is killing us so if you can rather use www.flickr.com, www.photobucket.com, www.webshots.com, www.facebook.com or alternative places to host pics please assist.

All those who've bought or sold over the year, why not chip in 5 % of the sale?
