Guys guys guys - the fact that he hasn't replied probably doesn't mean he isn't willing. Perhaps he just doesn't visit the forum as often as the rest of us addicts. Give the man a fair chance to take up the challenge....

Come now guys, Im sure the dear fellow has just been overcome recently by resin fumes and two stroke mix vhpy

He probably logged on and forgot why he was there!

I see a local magazine (insert add here - just pay money to DH!) has a couple of articles on our wonderous flying machines this month.

Seriously, how about an update there Alex.

I would like to make a personal sacrifice and volunteer my skills in order to form a selection panel for the aforementioned babes! I will work tooth and nail to find the best possible talent!

May I be forward enough by provisionally suggesting Saturday, 4 July, at FABS.

Reason being, we are hosting SAPFA's SA National Precision Landing Champs on that day. Microlights have been invited by SAPFA to also compete in their own class, and to be officially judged by SAPFA, albeit not for national colours. Last year saw 13 MPL's compete with great success.

Seeing that the GPS "loggers" belong to SAPFA and that they should available for us, this could become the perfect oppurtunity to host this great race between the JAG, the P&M, the Gyro's and for anyone else to compete around a declared track. It does not have to depend on P&M and JAG only.

Let us create our own (and first) Presidents Microlight Air Race ! ## ##

Contact me, or PM and I will do all from my side to have this passed with our FABS committee, SAPFA, MISASA and CAA.

Cheers, Roel 082 7seven7seven 2nine9 vhpy vhpy

I is happy to fly the chase plane with Demon or other suitable camera man in the rear.....

This should be fun...

PS
We are busy organising a race like this for bliks under the FIA rules. If there is interest we can piggy back this one and have a similar one for all trikes. You comes, pays you bucks, collects you logger, goes flies and returns and we tell you how fast you wneteth en all that.... Sounds like a lekka day out.....

This what we workingon for the bliks.
