Yes, really great news ! vhpy

Many thanks to those who made the difference :!:

Hopefully now someone will see how cheap I am offering my 330 hour Tbird for...

I had set the price at 115K to pay for around half the overall, now can offer it for far less, no overall needed as the engine is perfect .

Cheers ian

The official CAA letter is up on Misasa website:

http://misasa.flyeaaforum.com/?p=470
INDUSTRY COMMUNIQUE Friday, 25 APRIL 2008 ROTAX ENGINE TIME BETWEEN OVERHAUL EXTENSIONS

The Commissioner approved an extension to the Time Between Overhaul (TBO) requirement on Rotax engines in order to provide relief for Aircraft owners operating Rotax Two-stroke engines. The approval comes into effect on 1 May 2008 and will have an impact on a large percentage of the current Non-Type Certificated aircraft fleet, allowing engines to undergo the general overhaul later than recommended. ……
If you read that letter it looks like it was all the CAA's idea and they get all the credit  , we all know we did all the hard work and they did not even get mentioned. Anycase I'm glad we have it now official.

Dankie Sias for uploading to MISASA website :P
