My Airborne Edge X have this prop protector (Do not know what else to call it) and my prop is like new after 130 hours. I have attached a photo which shows this. It does not have any affect on performance.[/quote]
Hi AirHog,
Yes that is called a stone guard and almost every Airborne has one fitted.
The prop on the 912 is lower and therefore tends to eat stones.I have even modified the nets to put themm lower down by increasing the size of the triangle attaching it to the base tube.
