Ek het eintlik hierdie thread begin om te probeer vasstel hoeveel pilots begin hulle lisensie by die vlieg van radar vliegtuie, maar ek is geskok om te sien hoe min dit werklik deur druk in ons area.

In the old days before R/C we all flew diesel controll line- Very reliable
but the fuel was deadly stuff- either ,amilnitrate and castor oil- you couldnt buy it and had to mix it yourself- My nom would have to go to the chemist with me to buy the stuff- I was about 12 or 14 at the time
