Howzit Demon! (^^)

Will be great if you can muster some of your buddys. As mentioned there will be two classes - one for Trikers the other for Bantams / Thunderbirds and the like, with winners ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd place) in each class

Had to unfortunately move this event to the 4th of December, but will still be held at Brits Airfield.

Kloot Piloot - one of the great Trikers of the region, and myself plan to make this a yearly thing (at least) - still gotta give it a name.

Will keep all posted on this forum as our planning progresses

   Don't sweat brother, we all sometimes fluff-up when landing, more so during a competition cause everyone is watching you like a hawk!! Then you taxi off and feel like a banana with a sheepish grin on your face, but hey as long as we keep learning and have fun while doing it  (^^)

Light Flight in KZN holds an anual spot landing competition with a floating trophy. It sounds easy but you will be surprised at how many pilots fluff up their landings. Not taking into account the wind gradient and other factors. We also present the Nana Award which is a plastic banana mounted on a trophy. This is given to a pilot who has done something that has made them a real nana over the course of the year. Let me tell you that it is normally the guys with lots and lots of hours who receive this award and on various occasions some instructors have won it as well.

Enjoy your comp (^^) (^^)

  Like the NANA Floating Trophy idee   Can think of one or two guys I'd gladly present it to up here - hey I'm not perfect, give me a NANA anyday for being impatient on the road at times to the detriment of my family!!

Thanks AndyG for the info, and yes we hope to make it a success

Hey we gotta talk Monday to see if the Shark has taken a bite out of the Bulls butt!? Or our Bull is busy braaing his catch impaled on his horns over some bosveld hout!!
Anyway as long as Rugby wins - me personally, am then full of happiness!!

Lekker Vlieg! (^^)
