Well done Andre
We have a dodgy example of a KR2 here in Grahamstown, which I would like to turn into a gatepost mascot. Please come and use our tarmac runway and uncluttered skies when you are training with Bob in December. There are always cokes in the fridge when you stop to stretch your legs. I am sure that Larry would love to compare notes with his Waiex and your KR.

Re: Back in the air again
Progress report, I flew down to see her on thursday & checked her out. She is neat, paint job not fantastic & trim is taped on, just some carnu polish will make her look 100 times prettier. The wingtips are lousy & the lights sre illegal on the tips & she does not have a strobe or rotating beacon, easy to remedy. I am collecting her as soon as I come up with the balance, still planning to trailer her up end november. I have decided that even though the engine has low tt, I am going to strip, balance & rebuild the engine. I will do static runs at home before & after. I wont have her ready before december hols, only in the new year, but I would rather take it slowly & do all the things that need doing as I have time & money. I want to do everything now & then only want to have the odd weekend tinkering on her to improve & sort out small niggly items.
I wish she was here already
