At roughly R1.20 per day its a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing that competent people are looking out for our interests and safety!

I carry my AECSA card with pride.

Clubs and Associations are like opposition parties. Even when in minority, they can have an effect on the authorities' final decision. Without Clubs and Associations, the air would have become Government Property long ago.

I apolgize  for having diverted Boets's original thread at the beginning.

But back to the topic.

At what point do you discard off the horse at the watering hole ? (Liability = horse might die)

I would say you do it when you feel you have fullfilled your legal and moral responsibilties. Even if your combined 1000 years of experience tells you that the hose is going to kill himself. After that you leave it to the relevant law as enforced by the relevant authority (SACAA).

I wouldn.t have too many sleepless nights Boet. As long as you have your findings in writing, and confirmed by a witness, what else could you have done.

Horse won't drink, horse will die. Phone the vet. (CAA).
