After its done I can give you guys all the specs on the 2 trikes. If all goes well by the end of October I can post it. Then you guys can come and place your orders! (^^)

Hi Guys

Ok it’s done and very well I must say, 1.7 tons and still hanging on the pylon with no problems. We all where impressed to see a small little microlight take a lot of punishment and still going strong. We will push it now up to 2.4 tons for a max test and see. But 1.7 was already good to pass. So after the paperwork is done it’s of to fly!

PS. The first 582 Whirlwind is being built for a customer!!!

From my side I can only say thanks to all the guys involved and congratulations guys! It’s build very strong and well. (^^)

We are doing the wing test so when that is done we register and fly 40 hours. Then I can tell you what the performance is. It takes time with CAA and all the paperwork.

Hi Slysi

We got some cooling problems and we made some changes to the front part with more intakes. So we will have the new nose and middle part on a.s.a.p. then I will post some more photos. The Thunderbolt looks more of a beast than a trike now I think.

Hi Chaz

Yes the Thunderbolt ST will sell for R 410 000.00 and the Whirlwind (standard) for R 215 000.00. We are waiting for the registration to get done. The wing also passed! The tests so far predict the flying speed to be between 55 mph and 120 mph on the Thunderbolt ST. Whirlwind 35 mph and 80 mph.
