Sad isn't it? I wrote the above shortly before leaving the UK on the big journey. Full of hope and brimming with enthusiasm for what was to come. Reality though can punch you in the mouth and reality for me has become a fat lip. Should have stuck with the first plan. Find a rock by the sea shore (Anywhere) sit there with a bottle of wine, lump of cheese, loaf of bread and a fishing rod and finally find some peace from those who cannot give it.
Missed the Africa Cup fly in as well.
