Agent and the Trike

Postby The Agent » Mon Sep 22, 2008 8:05 am

On Saturday morning my love for flight was tested to the limit. We got airborn from Fisantekraal in a top of the range Cobra with a 912 s on the back.
Why do these guys fly so high and I feel so insecure in the cockpit, all the way to the coast side overt Contemans kloof and Grootfontein and another small field and landed at ????? to see Morph and Gadget. Wow the steep approach was an experience but landed safe and had a good chat, did I mention it was frikken cold and I did not have gloves on and I wanted to hold onto the side handels but it was to frikken cold, nee manne julle moet toe cockpits kry man.
From there it was back to Fisantekraal as the wind was beginning to move us around more than waht was fun, but we made it, now I can also say I have had my experience in a trike and as I said to Anton thanks BUT no thanks.
I stick to fixed wing a/c, I am sure it has made a better christiaan out of me as I said many a prayer.
Morph we got side tracked and ended up on the stoep of a very nice restaurant with a full view of all the a/c approaching the show.
And flew home at 17:00 to JHB

Must say CT is a winner in my books.

He he if you sh@t yourself on the trike you should come quad riding sometime. I find the trike quite calming and sedentary, almost like riding a Harley. There may be some vibration but there are times you are not convinced you are really moving forward.
Must get airborne again
