Wouldn't it be rather nice if sEXY also featured in the gallery?
How about it. Should be a lekka flight.

Re: Beaufort west airport
I started flying because of Beaufort West airport. Stayed over there when they opened the first time. Now use it each year on the way down to the Argus.
That first year there was a microlight book at reception. Started reading it, thought "I would like to do that!" and here I am many years later, very much poorer and with almost 300 hours on MPL. Still feel I must go back there and do a few circuits....

Re: Beaufort west airport
Ja. A few stories to come out of that trip. All of them good. Ice on the wings in the morning but surprised at how quickly it warmed up. There must be a lot of history regarding Beaufort West and Victoria West Airfields and should be recorded somewhere. Think I might look into it as will give a good excuse to visit again. By far the bumpiest part of the trip was the airline flight back to Cape Town during the storm on Sunday night but nice to sit at the back and have someone else worry about it. Cheers Pete
