Full bladder on X country

Postby extra300s » Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:56 pm

I wondered what you guys do when you are on a x country and your bladder is so full your eyes starts to water. This happend to me on my first x country. Do not know why it is that I have to take a leak every hour when I am training. Someone said it is the cold, me thinks it might be to much excitement, nervs, cold all in one.

Luckily we flew over the beach so I could ask the instructor if we could do a quick landing on the be@ch. But what if one is over terrain where a safe and smooth landing spot is not to close.

Any suggestions :? vhpy

ja, I thought of that one GR8-DAD! vhpy Just going to be difficult opening the flight suit, then unzipping your pants, then finding the mamba (remember this happens most when it is leeu koud - net kop en maanhare) whilst still controlling the wing!

There was a product on the market that had an attachment into a bag filled with an absorbing gel. You can guess where the attachment goes!
Personally i try to limit the liquid intake pre flying.
Ricky De Agrela and co on Freedom Flight were often flying 6 hrs without a P break and they limited the intake of fluids before flight.

The ones with the attachment we had at our airfield years ago. Never seen them again. The hangmat can be purchased at any supermarket or pharmacy. Ask your wife/girlfriend, she can advise you on the different product names
