Aish...the exchange rate, just as I think we have piled enough in a corner, then the pile gets eaten away by ........... well, let's not get negative. Just wondering, what is the prices of a Magni and ELA looking like now after the last few "weeks" exchange rate hikes???

I heard from a reliable source that there are two M24 on their way to South Africa.

Once all the paperwork is done, you might catch them at an airfield near you.

Look at these nice pictures......

This is absolutely positevely nice. xxx

I just hope this gyro was not build around 4 ft Italians, cause maybe someday me and my ship will be in the same harbour, and then........ ':-

I think this might fit in my hangar. (!!)

Very nice video.

Looks great! Will need to be compared with the new release from Rotortec, though!

(Refer thread "Rotortec Worldpremiere")

The phrase "Perception is reality" is bandied about frequently by marketers these days, and if one looks packaging and design development in the marketplace there is certainly more than a grain of truth in this statement as far us customers are concerned. For many decades the gyroplane industry, has I believe, suffered not only from (mis)perceptions about safety and stability, but also the physical appearance of gyroplanes to date has also done little to inspire confidence. Crude-looking "flying deck-chair' machines with exposed welded-tube construction have made for a poor looking comparison to to the sleek-bodied light aircraft and modern sport helicopters of today.

Whilst the semi-enclosed likes of the Magni, Ela and MT-O3 certainly progessed the aesthaetics of gyro design (and flight safety), it seems that we just may be at the threshold of a new era in gyros. The Xenon, Magni M24 and other modern, fully-enclosed side-by-side seaters, are for the first time in gyro history, right up there in the GA looks department! No longer rudimentary looking, but instead sleek, attractive and confidence inspiring! To the aspirant man-in-the street- wanna be flyer I believe these gyros are going to start providing (and look like) a very attractive and confidence-inspiring alternative to traditional three-axis aeries and helicopters, and this will help enormously in promoting and increasing the awareness, popularity and a better understanding of gyros in general.
