Dobbs,

I have seen what brakefluid does to fabric. It REMOVES ALL paint, including the dope, right down to the bare fabric. NO paint ever adheres to the bald spots again, ever. ( I tried to fix one. An exercise in futillity.) In short DO NOT USE BRAKEFLUID IN YOUR FABRIC COVERED AERIE. You have been warned.

Boet give the boys the correct speck for the 'fluid' then! It is a mineral oil (like a transmission fluid)? which is non-corrosive and does not harm the paintwork. Cant remember the name! - also remember all your seals have to be compatible with this fluid.

My childrens motorcycle uses a discbrake system with cables. Here are some pic's

KFA, jaaa, soos ek nou die dinge bekyk. moet jou kinders daai poeggies van hulle DIEP wegsteek EN toesluit :!: :!: :lol: :lol:

Die olie is doodgewone ATF graad olie. ( Automatic Transmission Fluid.) Use NOTHING else.

Hi Boet & GR8-Dad

My Wheels arrived Lastnight and wow exactly what i was looking for. I have already started to design a mounting system and i have the drawings ready to go to the Machine shop guys today. Here are the pics of what i have and what i am going to put on.
