Well I'll tell you guys one thing. I sure as hell won't renew my subscription. I wonder what MISASA has to say about this as this is now their official magazine as well. Very bad show!

This magazine thing is now becoming a joke! The only problem is that I do not find it funny when I paid for service and then nothing happens. Not even an indication from the responsible person of what is going on!!!
Makes me long back to the days when Chris van Eeden still published the mag!

what the fact that he got the mag or the content of the mag :?:

I dont think it is too bad although IMHO Tannie Trix will have to make mooi mooi with the rest of the mags :!: I subscribed because it was, and still is, a good mag I can read about people I know in there I can write a note and the edirtor will actually listen. It looked like a mag for the small guy. Me. Reading some of the other popular mags is nice but you only see things in there that other people can afford and fly. In AFSKIES I see things that I can fly and afford(sort off   )

Kom Tannie Trix post something and fix us up. This mag can become the greatest thing to all the normal guys like us.

<*> Hiya guys, sorry I've been absent from the forum lately, but I've been tied up on a run of assignments where there's little or no connectivity. :(
My apologies to you all for the extended delay on Issue 1  I agree that it's totally unacceptable. I encountered every possible setback short of a plague of locusts.
(**) (**) (**)
The good news is that the mag's out at long last and copies have been bulk mailed, couriered and hand delivered to subscribers :) If your copy has not reached you yet, it's on its way in Postman Pat's big bag of goodies. ?!@?
If you are not a subscriber yet, there are copies available at:
The Aviation Shop branches at Randpark Ridge and Boksburg
Classique Aviation at Rand Airport
I'll be delivering batches to our other regular aviation outlets, so watch this space. 8)
Issue 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 of 2007 will be coming out at 6-weekly intervals to get the publication schedule back on track. So, if you've got any news, views, brickbats, hairy stories or flying sorties to share with the rest of us, email them to me with a dash of speed. African Skies is here for you, so please play ball and participate.

BTW just a quick thank you hug - I've received umpteen PMs, emails and SMSs from far & wide, and more subscribers have come on board than ever before. So thanks guys & gals, I really do appreciate your vote of confidence and I know we can keep bringing out a good quality mag.
In case you're wondering what's in the current issue...
