'Newest First' default?

Is there a setting somewhere that will always show posts in 'newest first' sequence or do you have to scroll to the bottom and change it every time?

Select the "View page since last visit" on the right hand top of main index.

Does'nt always capture all and sometimes removes a few as it updates though.
