In response to an earlier comment on this thread.

Yes they mostly now use higher performance trikes like the Quik GT450 and the Quik with 912's in the training schools in the Uk. The main reason they have found that they are able to instruct for longer hours in a month due to the bigger weather flying window.

Kind of makes sense

I smell a business opportunity here on the Highveld. Surely with our climate during both summer and winter it would then make sense to utilise these aeries for training? I have often read posts on this forum that the previous generation of trikes are limited to a very narrow window of flying time thus reducing the available teaching hours?

Well maybe our local schools can learn from the Pommies. I will certainly mean more loot in their pockets.

Ray? Did you ever have ZU-AXC in your hangar? The colour scheme is eerily familiar! Aerotrike Safari with 582, blue T-pod, no wheelspats? 1996 model?

Demon - that's great :!:

What's the current "fly-away" price from Big G in RSA - all in (plus or minus a few variables)?

Yip - you guessed it - been thinking about one for a while now.

In fact, ever since I saw them at Cato - plus the back-up (your case) is good. !!!!

MJ :D will be one of the lucky new GT 450 owners.

It will be my yellow true love. Can't wait for her to be flying the Rosslyn skies.

I don't know who are the other 2 lucky ones.
