That runway has a kink in it!!!

Altonas runway is always a bit disconcerting... if you hit the trees to the north you fall into the grave yard!!

The reason for the open bonnet of the Hatz was dirt in the fuel system that needed urgent attention.

Greetings Trikers,

Where is hippo pools? How far in flying time from Phalaborwa (Hot)? Can you fish it and is the fish eatable? Would give anything to be in South Africa flying now but I have made a plan, so watch out for the kamakazi brit pilot next year.

Actually (Plummy) I need to be in SA right now. Big sigh!!!! :(

Enjoy the trip Guys (^^)

Uncle Spud
Hippo Pools is about 30miles flying from Phalaborwa. About 45min in a trike. You can fish in the olifants river (on the above photos) Full of crocodiles though.
