Something about having an accident and us not being around to look after our littleone, she will only fly if all of us can go together. I have taken her and littleone up in a friends piper and no problems. Hell she even flew with Big G and enjoyed it.

But as a whole she is not chuffed about this crazy thing called flying. Specially not in that "egg beater on steroids" as she puts it.
Tailspin...I have had the same argument thrown at me....If it were true, then you and your wife should never drive in a car together, because some taxi might do the same thing !!!!

Only kings and Queens or heads of state saw reason to fly on different aircraft (and ships and cars), so why just pick on planes?

My skygod and I met through flying, and all our kids have been flying since before they were borne, so it came as a bit of a surprise when we set up the airfield and found out that most people are not like us at all :!: :!: :!:

When we decided to make our airfield a family one, long before we had kids, we actually had people complain that they fly to get away from the family, so they don't want them to know that they are welcome. One guy actually decided to hangar at another place!

Last weekend one of the regulars remarked " Thank God my wife hates flying"

My wife loves it...

Postby ZULU1 » Sun Aug 20, 2006 6:39 am

Fortunately my wife enjoys it, done the Bundu Bash (and fell asleep in the back), hates the cold and is happier we have the 4 stroke. We very often fly alone in the week.
But Morphs comments about other dangerous sports is very relevant. I always enjoy solo jollies on a Sunday morning early, its nice to meet the other early birds, cyclists, golfers, bikers, runners, fisherman around the coast. But those cyclists really take their lives in their hands, with the number of nutters on the roads early morning. You see them almost getting mowed down, not only taxis but idiots in cars also...I feel for them, they almost need a cycle park.

I have had my Bantam for almosya year and if I had to show her somepic's of different ultralight she would not know what my Bantam looks like .
But weekends she enjoys visiting her mother.

When they were younger they always threatened to go back to their mothers well now they have the chance.
