Hello Guys!
After 9 months of late nights and hard work, I have finally finished the GTFLYCOM vox intercom system! It is with pride that I say, it is to date the highest quality pilot communication intercom system on the market. I developed the system for us microlighters to be the most reliable robust system! It is voice activated. It has nice big buttons to adjust volume comfortably with gloves on. LED power indicator. Works with GA Plugs. Aux input for your see phone or recorder and works on the common 9v battery. The connectors for headsets are screened cables that you can route and mount on the trike seat frame, one for pilot and one for pax. No connectors on the intercom that will get tangled up nor sticking out in the way of your volume controls. It's simply designed by pilots for pilots!

Now for the headsets. They I have imported but with my ANR technology built into them. There is no other headset out there that I have seen preformed so well in open Cockpit aircrafts!!! They are super!! GA plugs! Comfy cups and super silent.

Ptt. My PTT has a rubber cover over the switch to prevent liquids and dust to get into the switch. It's IP67 rated. No other PTT can be compared with it! The reliability is guaranteed.

Hi Gerrit,

I would like to see a closer picture of the connectors as well as what the length of the leads are or can they be ordered to a specific length.

Is there perhaps a chance in future that you will be enhancing the system to run off the power plane's power source, ie. 12V as opposed to the current 9V battery?

@ iceman e-mail michelle@gtflycom.co.za and she will send you close up pictures of connections. The headset connection is GA plugs mic is 5.2mm and speaker is 6.mm aviation standard... I avoid connection to aircraft power to ensure crystal clear comms. The motor causes a lot of noise. But I can supply in line power module to recharge the 9vdc battery at a cost of R 320.

The battery actually lasts very long I havexpect tested 30+ hours and still going.

I made up the headset connection cable in a manner that if you place the intercom next to your Radio on your pod that the sockets that are on leads get routed on the boom and to the side of your seat frame and then strap them in place with a cable tie. This way all cables are out of the way wen climbing in and out of your airie.

@ iceage I fit the connector for any desired radio. So to answer your question yes it can work with your Radio.

Got my new intercom and headset from GT Flycom the other day, and the quality and performance of both are excellent. Out performs my old system in every way. VOX system works well with very little ambient noise coming through. Money well spent.
