Hulle werk. Jy moet eerstens "n backplate vir die spinner opsit want dit bepaal die hoogte van die cowl. Tweedens moet die kante van die ducts laer getrim word en derdens moet jy op die knop bo op die duct aan die voorpunt moet jy 'n stuk uitsny sodat die knop plat is. EK sal kyk of ek foto's n het erens.

Juan, kyk die ou se baffle system. Dis meer "vliegtuig", en is oor donkie-jare bewys om te WERK!! Die Jabbie enjins sal baie beter diens gee as hulle ordenlik afgekoel word!! ## ## ## ##

Engine swaai en oil pressure is daar. Nou net cowl spray en asook finale spray (kleur) werk. Papiere in vir registrasie is in, so hy kom einde se kant toe.

Through I have nothing to gain from this I can't sit back and watch the advice given without chipping in.
I dealt with the owner of this very plane you posted pictures of.
He had BIG cooling problems.
Forget his name now but he was from Namibia.
I cut my teeth on Lycomings and Continentals so I know where you are coming from.
These Jabies must have the correct cooling for long life. As much as possible of the incoming air must be directed around the heads, the barrels don't need it.
In our experience the only road to success on these is to use the Jabiru supplied ducts and the lip on the bottom as Juan has done. Its the only way to keep the CHTs within limits.
The proof in the pudding is KFA's trainer easily reaching 1000hr TBO on the topend using 95ULP not even Avgas.
