Topic: Flight Planning, Navigation and Competition Flying
What to bring: Notepad, pencil/pen, pocket calculator, ruler and an EMPTY 5GB Memory stick. (Pilots accidentally loading virusses onto Merv's computer will be dragged down 03 by their bootlaces! )
Complimentary Tea, Coffee, biscuits and Rusks as well as cooldrink will be available as snacks before and during the lecture.
Lunch: will be served at about 13h00 (after lecture ends) Boerie Rolls and Salad.
Refreshments: Your ticket price includes one complimentary Beer or Cider. (Should your thirst be severe...they will be available at R10 each while stocks last)
You are of course welcome and encouraged to bring your own too.
Thank you very much for booking your slots, I look forward to another informative talk. Please also submit your ideas for possible future "Episodes" to me anytime, and I will try my best to arrange them.
All profits made from this and other "Episodes" will be donated to the "Microland Improvement Fund".
Our intention is to raise funds so that we can slowly improve the facilities at our Airfield, thus providing a real "Home away from Home" for all our pilots and their families.

I take it the memory stick is for Merv's scanned pdf Aeronautical maps. They will comfortably fit onto a 4Gig stick. 5Gig sticks are difficult to find I would imagine we would also need to bring our nav protractor.
