Alan Mackenzie resignation from Misasa

Postby Bundy » Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:45 pm

It is with sadness that I hereby inform our members that the long serving Alan Mac, our Editor, Website Administrator, loyal member and friend has tendered his resignation from Misasa.

It would be far too little space here to express our gratitude to him for his many years of service to our sport and his dedication to his fellow pilots as well as his monumental effort to making our Magazine such a high quality publication.

On behalf of the Committee Alan, thank you for everything you have done for us over the past decade, your presence will be sorely missed and your boots will be hard to fill. We wish you all the best for the future and I think I speak for all of us when I say you would be welcomed as a good friend on whatever Apron you may find yourself. (^^)

Alan has kindly offered to assist with the publication of the next two magazines, (providing we give him content!)

We will very shortly be asking for someone to step up to the plate and volunteer their time and skills to become our new Editor.

Can I ask anyone interested to please send your details to us at: pro@misasa.org

Many Thanks,
Bundy

Alan's resignation is indeed a very sad day for MISASA... :-(

We sincerely hope he changes his mind in due course but am aware that he is attending to a very demanding project that really does need his undivided attention.

Gee Alan. So sad to hear. Your shoes are going to be very hard to fill. I hope the wild coast fly away will still continue.

LAdies & Gents... I don't think Alan is "lost" to MISASA.

It is going to be up to us all in providing content for the magazine to keep him in our midsts. If that is not going to be forthcoming then well.....
