Oom POLLA se SPEELGROND! Was al daar. Kyk bietjie na eerste foto hierbo. Ek sien daai verdomde Kameeldoring is nog steeds daar, REGUIT op short finals, TEEN die threshold! Oom Polla, saag nou die blerrie ding af! ## Laas moes ek OM hom vlieg toe ek shortfield gedoen het! :lol:

(NS: As julle ouens invlieg - neem net kennis van die donkie op die RWY ook. Hy MOVE nie as jy hom buzz nie. As Jimmy nie sien jy wil kom land en hom kom wegjaag nie, moet jy maar besluit watter kant van die donkie is die meesste runway, en dan shortfield doen voor hom, of anderkant hom, afhangende.. :wink: )

I've never landed there, but have run around that area since I was in nappies, so I id'd it from the trees next to the road in the mid distance.

Runway is long 1200m but quite bumpy. OK in an Aquilla or similar but the GT's and their "maer tekkies" dont like it. :lol:
Headings 10/28 with powerline (30ft) on 28 threshold. There is a crosswind runway but is never maintained so I dont reccomend unless emergency. (**)

The GF2 is actually a really nice area to fly. I did my training at JAG and then hired and flew the schools plane CGD for the next 10 months after getting my licence. This was a flip I gave to a mate of mine who had never flown in any plane before. He is currently saving for his NPL :) (^^)

Addictive this little hobby is.... 8)
