So the weather prophets were not completely right again. Had a good 4 hours of flying this morning from 07h00 to 11h00 at Rhino.

Not the case, look at the weather closely . . . . this morning at low level winds were ok, but winds aloft were a challenge!

News 24:

The South African Weather Service warned of another strong cold front for most of the country over the coming weekend.

A cold front struck most of the country over the weekend, flooding parts of Cape Town and displacing many.

“No recovery from the cold is currently expected,” Elizabeth Webster, a forecaster at the SA Weather Service told News 24.

Cold fronts

Parts of South Africa will be hit by a series of weak cold fronts over the next week.

Two weak cold fronts will brush over the southern west coast of the country over the next 48 hours, especially affecting Cape Town.

A stronger cold front is expected towards the end of the week in most of the country, which brings likelihood of snow and flooding. The SA Weather Service is monitoring the situation.

Nee ou Croccie - ek het hierdie "aspris - naweek - weer" nou uit-gefigure. Ek gaan Vrydag middag Gauteng toe vlie met die Sa Airlink blik. Dan gaan ek Saterdag kyk na die reen en wind by Microland. Dan gaan ek Sondag circuits vlieg - en dan gaan ek MAANDAG my trike Poloks toe vlieg.! Ek gaan die weer 'n vet POEP rol!! Op Maandae is die weer ALTYD mooi - so - dan val ek maar in by die "aspris" weer.

En ek belowe jou as dit Maandag nog K@k is, dan wag ek vir Dinsdag. Ek sal hierdie weer wys!

(Onthou dis die laaste kans voor die Nylstroom fly-inn - so dis nou "crunch time" - al moet ek 3 dae vir die &%^&&%% koue fronte wag, of AL my verlof opgebruik!)

Maandag lyk nie te sleg nie laat weet wat jou planne is miskien kan ek jou tussen Renosterkop Dam en Cullinan kry dan vlieg ek so ent saam met jou

Sal laat weet, maar ek dink ek vlieg maar Vrydagaand deur en bum slaapplek by pelle. Ek het Dinsdag 'n belangrike afspraak in Lydenburg gehad maar dis geskuif - so ek het Dinsdag ook nou tyd! Ek is seker die weer sal Sondag / Maandag / Dinsdag mooi wees! Ons gebruik maar bietjie van die opgehoopte verlof, en vat net laptop saam!
