Afraid so... the ATF you are applying (WCM) for is subject to the recognised ARO and in this case MISASA!

So if you fly a paraglider & trike & gyro

You will pay AEROCLUB & the ARO's respectively SAHPA, MISASA & SAGPA

Please see my post at viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13017.

I would appreciate your guidance.

Many thanks,

Thanks John!

That was really simple!

It does beg the question as to why this information and link is not available on the MISASA website!

From previously quite frustrated to now quite pleased! (^^)

Thank you Sir!

FYI: I am already a member of the Aeroclub, so only paid/joined MISASA now.

Hi John,

I was here . . . . http://weboonline.com/MISASA/websiteform.php?id=233 as I figured I needed to register first before paying.

I have looked at the link you have provided http://www.weboonline.com/MISASA/webCms.php?tab=1 and for the life of me I cannot see where to click to register as a new member and pay! I can only see clicks to: "T0 UPDATE YOUR PILOT MEMBERSHIP RECORDS" and "To become a Co-pilot member, and to pay Co-pilot fees"

Anyway, I am now registered and have paid, so selfishly I close off my "issue"!!

Thanks again,

John

You know guys... the MEMBERS CARD is just a big deal... I have not received mine either and I paid in December 2011!

I'm just thinking about all those folk that expect to see the latest edition of Microflight Africa in their postbox ;-)

Also deviating from the point.... MEMBERSHIP RUNS FROM 1st January to December end and not when you need your ATF or whatever!

Will check the listings after all the latest fundi transactions have been reconciled!

I agree - I too paid in December last year and even after raising this matter at the last Aero Club board meeting I'm afraid to say that I too have no card.

Last year I paid the year before also = then came Easter, then Winter then the spring daffodils and finally I got a card = anyway we gave them the Wally Award as a nudge - what more can one do?

I suggest that you e-mail the Chairman of the Aero Club, Jeff Earle directly at :

jeff@placo.co.za

Maybe if he gets enough e-mails he will ask the Aero Club about their service delivery? Raising the matter at the board meeting does not seem to help?

Anyway the point of paying your membership fees is not the card for when you get it, it will offer little value as far as the average member is concerned. An overseas association may ask for it if you attend an overseas airshow but locally?

The latest mag has been posted to the 1/3rd of the 2011 membership that have paid minus about 100 members. For these 100 we do not have an address. When they paid they did not provide an address or they entered a VISA card number, the word VISA or a range of other unhelpful information - in short they did not provide a usable address ie a street name only is not enough.

If you have paid and you provide an address to the Aero Club or if you pay and provide an address before the next mag you will be sent both mags. We will however not send back issues after that.

I dont bother about a card. If the aero club dont give a damb, why should I, as lo9ng as I get my Mag.
